Yarbo should consider adding secondary braces that attach to the DC vertical pole which can then be secured to the building. I have had some strong winds recently and I believe this would contribute to my dock and maps being off just enough to mess everything up. This is now going to require reinstalling the dock and remapping everything. This is a suggestion but it would be very helpful to stabilize the DC.
Good idea.
Some people have made their own brackets for the same reason.
There are some 3d printable mounts if you have access to a 3d printer.

I added guy wires to mine. For me it was the simplest solution. Took 10 mins and is super stable.
I was going to design some brackets in CAD and print them but the guy wires were easier.
Yes they should consider something. Ideally the poles should be double or triple the diameter so they would be more stable.
To your other point, it shouldn’t be interfering with your map or docking. Unless it’s moving it considerably and keeping it there. Correct map drift will fix any deviations. You shouldn’t have to remap or reinstall the docking station at all.
Thanks for sharing this suggestion. We completely understand your need for improved stability, especially in windy conditions, and how important it is for maintaining accurate docking and mapping. I’ll be sure to pass this feedback along to our product team for consideration.
