Define trimmer only job for existing area

I have a large area defined in the app for mowing and trimming in a single work plan. I want to create a second job that just runs the trimmer in that same area. Can’t seem to find anyway to do it.

Can someone please point me in the right direction? Any guide that shows how to do it?

Make a Memmery path.

Allegedly I should not need to do that. I want to do the perimeter of an existing area, just without mowing. It’s a one acre field and I don’t really want to walk it again.

yes it would be good if you could choose to only trim edges. but not at the moment. Yarbo doesn’t know when they will come out with updates for the trimmer.

Still have a problem for existing area…how do you stop it from mowing with a memory path? That gets added to the existing area along with edge trimming and mowing, doesn’t it?

What about doing one perimeter pass mower and trimmer and aborting the operation when it completes the pass?

Looking for something a little more automated…

you can’t stop mowing with memory path. but you can raise the mower to 4 inches if you don’t want it to mow the grass. you add the memory path before or after your area in plan edit. sometimes when yarbo ends on a memory path it tries to back off the memory path. so not so autonomous.

I don’t want to do any mowing, just string trimming.

Trim with the SAM

Unfortunately short of a work plan with memory path only, there is no way to automate just a trimmer edge or even mowing only the perimeter cuts. I’d suggest a feature request.

We’re sorry, but currently this is not supported. We hope the workaround shared by the community may help you in the meantime.
