Distance between perimeter mowing laps

Yarbo’s cut performance can be significantly improved by adding a little overlap between mow lines. The central part of the lawn looks really nice and tidy after using that feature. However, it has no effect on perimeter laps. It is a real pity, because the few uncut lines of grass on the edge of each area is the first thing one notices.

Please add a setting for distance between perimeter laps or use the existing overlap setting for the respective area.

Hi there — thanks for the suggestion about adding a distance setting between perimeter mowing laps. We’ll keep an eye on interest from other users, and I’ll share this with our product team if more people request it.

For better understanding I have now uploaded a screenshot of a plan preview from the Yarbo App.

As you can see, the distance between the three mowing lines on the far left (the perimeter laps) is much greater than the distance between the rest of the lines (central area part).

I really think you should consider this a bug.

Just curious, is it missing grass in those gaps? My experience has been it’s usually just a visual bug. I do vary my cut 90 degrees and resend the next day usually, so for me I haven’t really noticed any missed areas like this. I’m also doing smart turns and it does a lot of maneuvering to get lined up to cut around NGZ’s too, I think that helps if it is.

Yes, it is missing a fair bit of grass. Mostly on the left and right side of the area. The error is accumulating throughout the season. I mow it manually every now and then. I could add a pathway to automate it, but thats a dirty hack and hassle to set up. Instead, I’d prefer it to be fixed, since it is a general bug that concerns everyone, IMHO.
