I noticed that since the update, my GPS icon is showing red/no signal. In the diagnostics the adjust angle is -1. The knowledge base says I can perform an odometer calibration, but it looks like that option was removed from the app.
Yarbo is in the open, so actual GPS signal should be fine.
I was even able to program a new map area just fine, so the location accuracy is fine.

Anyone else having this issue? I really don’t want to have to reset my base station and reprogram my map.

I think I’d start with making sure the App is up to date or restarting the App if you haven’t. It is odd that you could map with the GPS showing red? Something’s weird, and it could just be an oddity in the App’s display.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, the usual “did you power cycle the rover and Data Center” suggestions will be coming at you next, so I’d give those a shot.

I’ve rebooted yarbo and the base station at least twice each. I tried restarting the app and clearing cache. No change.
It seems like some sort of calibration or reset issue following the FW upgrade, but I don’t see how to trigger a calibration anymore.
And yes, being able to program a new area, even with GPS being red, and even with the notice to wait for GPS being on the screen, is really weird. But it tracked the location just fine.
I think GPS is just fine, but something is out of sync internally.

This is the first one of these I’ve heard of, @brianbartlow

I’d gather what info I could and create a Support ticket. My guess is it’s something Support will log in and fiddle with, and you’ll be good.

Really weird it all still works. Sounds like cruft stuck in the data somewhere where the App is reporting the cruft but everything else sees real data.

Please post the DC and HaLow sections of your diagnostics screen. Rover section as well. You can blur out the coordinates. I suspect your DC or HaLow connection is not working.

Ah ok, you have a 2023 model. Everything looks good as far as I can tell. Is your right RTK antenna (as you face the back of the core) secure and good? Is your base station solid green?

Yeah light was solid green.
I’m not sure how they fixed it, but support was able to get it working again. I have a question asking what happened. Hopefully they will answer. I suspect the only fix was to have Yarbo support connect and reset something over the Internet.

Since the vision has been activated it has been seeing ghost and traveling 5ft in other work zone to avoid nothing. I put it back on Gentle contact so I could cut safely.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue, and we agree that this behavior is abnormal. We suspect that it might be related to a bug we are already aware of, but we need to investigate further to fully understand the cause. To provide you with better support, we’ve created a support ticket (#77396) for you, and our support team will reach out soon through the email address linked to your Yarbo account. They will help identify the root cause and assist you in resolving the issue. Thank you for your understanding!

We’re sorry for the inconvenience this issue has caused. After checking with our support team, it appears that your case is not related to the firmware update, but rather due to a GPS signal issue. Our support team will assist you further through your existing support ticket and help resolve the problem as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding!

I am very interested in understanding how this is a GPS issue when Yarbo correctly follows its path under the “gentle contact” setting. Only when vision is enabled does it “see” erroneous non existent obstacles, and attempts to move around them.

Edit: @bryan.wheeler thanks for pointing out, Yarbo’s reply was mostly likely for GAHettinger!

I think Yarbo meant to reply to GAHettinger.
