We have lawn tracks and snow tracks I would like if we could get one more model.
Gravel Tracks. Same pattern as the snow tracks but it will be with a deeper pattern or a thicker track.
So yarbo will be higher more ground clearance and the snow blower will be able to be more horizontal so yarbo does not drive up in the snowdrifts.
As yarbo is now the minimum height that the snow blower should be set 30-35mm and then it will quickly get stuck or drive up in the snow.
I love the idea of taller more aggressive tracks for certain environments. That would be nice.
But I suspect itβs not possible because raising the ground clearance would be problematic for the wireless charging. ![]()
I would love more aggressive tracks too, but my guess on the limiting factor would be clearance on top next to the body. But if theyβre offered, Iβm a buyer.
I guess they could put a hump in the center of the charging pad
I have parked on 2 pieces of wood so it is lifted 22 mm and it still charges. There could also be a belt you take out over the track like you do with snow chains
donβt lie! Great test! ![]()
@Yarbo-Forum good looking suggestion here by @Kolbe
Thanks for sharing your suggestion β we really appreciate you taking the time to explain the idea and the reasoning behind it.
If more users express the same interest in a gravel track option, Iβll be happy to pass this feedback along to our product team for consideration. Thank you again for your input and for helping us improve the product.
Gravel track option please. That is my biggest issue in the winter is lack of traction.
With a near future 1800 foot x 20 foot gravel private road and a 1400 foot driveway, count me in for an aggressive track option!
In Quebec, snow is a different story. After many times I had to go outdoor and get Yarbo out of being stuck in the snow, I added these 90Β° metal plates. Works great and no more frustration. Except these tracks lift Yarbo by another 3/4 inch and it cannot recharge by itself on the recharge board. I have to plug it after the job. Would be nice of being able to adapt the surface underneath for adjusting to this additionnal height, something I was not willing to do in regards to my Yarbo warranty.
Itβs probably a good thing because those metal plates could heat up from the wireless charging coils and cause major problems. Not to mention probably not good for the dock. Glad that is working well for you though.
It does look really cool! Nice fabrication work.
And I bet your Yarbo never gets stuck now! ![]()
Amazing! Even if they are not perfect due to the charging issue, maybe they will help Yarbo on the path to ones that are. Thanks for the work!
Count me in, would love this too
