Thanks I really appreciate it. I really like my yarbo and once this issue is fixed I really have no other complaints.
That’s a great solution. I never understood why they didn’t support both antennas. I prefer the HaLow clip style myself. If they had just done that to both antennas. I think that will work well for you. Maybe add some spikes though so the bird doesn’t want to use it as a perch. My feedback to Yarbo on the stabilizer bar is that a bird will want to land on it at some point and if it’s just sitting there with minimal pressure and relying mostly on gravity, what’s to prevent a bird from taking it or an updraft to possibly blow it off. Haven’t seen it yet, so maybe a non issue.
consider adding some sharp “points” along the horizontal support to prevent birds from landing. I have a flock of pigeons that like to land on the DC. I’m glad its waterproof.
When I got my Yarbo, I realized the antennas would be a potential problem. My solution to the antenna Issue was simple- I installed them both pointed down.
The antennas have been that way since their initial installation and I’ve had zero issues.
Pointed down could slow water in the connections
True, it’s possible. So far they’ve been fine though, and i don’t have to worry about them rotating and becoming loose over time.
I pointed out that I would not be able to use smart vision on 4g only. Their suggestion (6-30) was to keep the unit within range of my wifi network so smart vision would always work. I said this was not acceptable and they have not responded. I cannot accept that somebody thought this was a reasonable suggestion. This has to be a stall tactic of some kind. I appreciate everyone’s help but I am throwing in the towel. I will be filing a dispute with my card issuer for defective merchandise. I sent one last message today asking for resolution but I don’t expect much at this point.
Hi there, the suggestion to keep your unit within WiFi range was only intended as a temporary workaround to help you use Smart Vision normally while we continue investigating the issue.
I’ve asked the FSE responsible for your case to follow up as soon as possible. Please rest assured that we are committed to identifying and resolving the root cause so you can have a smooth experience with your Yarbo.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Thanks for reaching out to the FSE. They say they are going to replace the core. I have to believe that will fix the issue as I have already replaced the data center. As I said before, I think this is a good product. I understand that no manufacturing process is 100% perfect and defects happen. I just don’t like that I have to threaten credit dispute to get a response.
