How are the Refurbished Cores These Days?

Does anyone have recent experience with the refurbished replacement cores Yarbo is sending out?

I’ve read some horror stories from months (or even a year) ago about refurbished units arriving in rough shape, or having even more issues than the original core. I’m curious if quality control has improved since then, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has dealt with a replacement recently.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be receiving a refurbished unit soon, as the drive motor on one of my tracks is officially kaput.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

They can just send you the motor and track assembly so you replace it yourself and keep your core. Or they now have repair facilities that can repair your unit. One is in Appleton WI.

I have a refurb. core coming in the next few days hopefully, so I can let you know.

Thanks @B-Mod - I don’t have a problem fixing it myself, and Appleton’s not a bad idea either. Let me know what your replacement core is. Thanks again.

It is a easy fix, I had to do one in mine last year, it is really simple. I just looked and they did not ship my replacement yet, only a tracking number since July 17th.

@B-Mod I’ve been to that rodeo a time or two. I’ve seen that same tracking number for almost two weeks before it actually leaves. That’s my big concern. I don’t know if I can get a motor sent faster than a core or not. I asked, but of course they need to talk to a higher authority.

It’s my own fault because we needed to rearrange some things in our storage building, so I moved our 61-inch zero turn into a corner that’s almost impossible to get out of right now. So of course this thing would break four days later.
