I have snowfall notification and automatically schedule switched on. Will Yarbo work on its own when it detects snow? Is there a way to restrict it from operating between 6:30pm to 9:30 am? When I go to my work plan and click schedule and then I click automatic (as opposed to manual) I choose the times that it’s ok for it to work (9:30am-6:30pm) and click the checkmark to finish it just goes under manual schedule. So I turned it off. I just want it to be able to create its own schedule if there is incoming snow and I’d like it to only schedule between 9:30am- 6:30 pm. I’ll include pictures of what my work plan schedule settings look like now. I’d really appreciate if you could help me understand how this works!!
When it detects snowfall and you get the notification, it will set a schedule automatically. You can then edit the schedule and set the start/end times as well as the work plan. By default it picks the VERY FIRST work plan ever created (currently), it is actually supposed to pick the first plan in the list. If you take no action, it will schedule it and execute automatically. This is subject to having good weather data for your area though. YMMV.
Hi there, happy to help clarify how this works.
If you have snowfall notifications and automatic scheduling enabled, the system will automatically create a schedule for you when snowfall is detected—typically about 6 hours before 1 inch of snow is predicted. When this happens, the schedule will appear under the Auto Schedule column. Any schedules you create yourself will always show up under Manual Schedule.
At the moment, there isn’t a way to restrict auto-scheduled plans from running within a specific time window (for example, preventing operation between 6:30 pm and 9:30 am). We understand how useful this would be, but this option is not yet supported.
