Issue with sidewalk logic

If the last item in a work plan is a sidewalk the Reverse Back is not honored. It does a zero turn even if Reverse Back is selected. I have a walkway that is setup with two adjacent sidewalks. The first one drives down and backs up. The second one drives down and does a zero turn to come back. If I switch the order in the plan I get the same behavior. The last one always does a zero turn to return to the charging station.

Is it because the plan is completed at the end of the sidewalk and then the auto recharge plan is calculated? This seems like an easy thing to overlook and also fix. Just need to mark the plan completed after it completes the reverse.

That may be how it thinks. But the plan isn’t completed until it backs up. That’s part of the plan.

Agreed. Seems like an oversight or an error in the reverse logic code.

Quick temp fix would to be to put a small sidewalk after the plan near the beginning of “last sidewalk” but definitely agree it’s an oversight. Also it can run the sidewalks from either end…there should be a dead end reverse mode that only lets it run from one end

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
I’ll pass this along to our product team so they can investigate and look into further optimization.
