There are times when yarbo (the mower) can have a collision with the back edge of the mower. When this happens it can be really hard to clear that collision state. Being able to clear the collision with the “clear error” button would give better control of the collision recovery.
Also I understand that most collisions happen on the front so forcing backwards makes sense, but when you have a side or back collision, it can be tricky to make Yarbo move enough to clear the error state.
When I am manually trimming or maneuvering I often find this collision reverse back not always possible. I agree, clear error should also actually clear it. Sometimes it’s caught on the rear of the bumper so reversing isn’t possible (as an example).
No offense intended, but how many times do these things need to be “passed along” before something happens. We been getting this standard response for a lot of issues. It’s starts to feel disingenuous.
I completely understand your concern, and we truly appreciate you being direct about it.
The reality is that we receive a very large amount of feedback from many different channels, including community discussions, support tickets, and PPP feedback. During each development sprint, the team has to carefully review all of this input, evaluate the impact and urgency, and then prioritize what can realistically be addressed first.
There are honestly many areas we want to improve as well, but we may not be able to handle every request at the same time. In most cases, priorities are determined based on overall impact, frequency, technical complexity, and how many users are affected.
That said, feedback like yours is still extremely valuable and does help shape future improvements. We genuinely appreciate your patience and continued feedback as we keep working to improve the product and user experience.
