M Series Preorder

Anyone else put in their reservation to purchase? For clarification, this isn’t the kickstarter purchase, this is a $50 reservation of the Kickstarter VIP discount. The $50 reservation is refundable and if you do buy the M Series, you’ll get this $50 back along with an additional $200 off the discounted purchase price.

Where. And how?

I think my yard is too big. Did you go with LIDAR?

Here is the direct link: Products – Yarbo

If you go to the M Series site (https://mseries.yarbo.com), click on the View Cart button in the upper right, then click “Continue Shopping”, you’ll be taken to the VIP page where you can get your $50 (refundable) spot locked in. Not sure if there was something put out about this, I was digging around on the site and came across it so I ordered.

You should use the same email address for this reservation as your Kickstarter account apparently, they said it should make the discount process easier.

I will go with with the M20i that has LiDAR but this is just a preorder placeholder, I’ll be able to pick what I want once the Kickstarter launches. You pay $50 now and after you order you’ll get a refund of $250, $50 of that is your placeholder payment. That’s on top of the discounted Kickstarter Yarbo order.

M20i will do up to 5.25 acres a week. How big is your yard?

Not that big. Ha.

Yesterday there were three options, today there are two.

What’s the difference?

Great question. To me, all three looked the same just different titles. I opened all three “Learn more” links and they were the same.

I’m going to guess the different discount levels that are usually on a kickstarter campaign. Super early bird, early bird, etc.

yes, one would think so. but same price.

Gotta love marketing…

I think this is the correct answer.

The VIP is for the mower only and the early access pass applies for all modules.

How much are we trusting their timeline? It says shipping by August, however I am leaning more towards the spring of ‘27. Also, since the M series is significantly cheaper than the Y series and now can do 1.5 acres/day and the Y series can do 1.77 acres/day (if running 24 hrs), are we expecting a Y series gen 2 in the near future? Maybe that’s the PRO lineup seen at a european trade show earlier this year that Ken insisted was just a concept on his reddit account…who knows. I’m debating the 1.5 acres/day vs LiDAR, I’m looking to start a business utilizing Yarbos and can’t decide which is more useful. Superdocking will be great to finally have though, that’s going to be the key to much of the success here.

Where do you see that the VIP is only for the mower? On both listings it states “Universal Lock-in: Your $50 deposit applies to ALL models on Kickstarter.”

Hmm. When I looked at them last night one said mower and the other said all modules, now they both say all models. I’m not sure what happened there.

Yarbo, being that the new M series is considerably lighter, have you planed for or designed any additional theft deterrents for this M series? I live is in nice suburb of Cleveland, but know one of the largest complaints other “robo mower” companies and customers have had is around theft. People just seem to just drive around and want to take them! I even heard of a few local “subscription/rental” year services giving up on this because of theft.

Aso I asked this via your FB post too, but when is this all going down? some pages/ads say February while others say March? Yes I have been following you guys religiously so I assume the new date is now March unless that is a mistake?
