As a user
When editing a map
i am able to create layers
And add items to the layer
So I can toggle the layers visibility off or on as needed
To better manage my maps

2nd:
As a user
I am able to save the layers individually
And externally from the rover unit or base station
Allowing the archival and restoration of maps as needed.

3rd:
As a user
I am able to save my map as a standard geospatial file type
As either a personal geodatabase
Or as a feature layer
That is compatible with leading geospatial software and open source software following common industry standards

Example software like ESRI ArcGIS tools.

These features should allow for easier editing of maps and for quicker recovery should a unit need to be replaced or is damaged.

At this stage, we are focused on improving the core functionality and overall user experience of the system. While your ideas regarding layer management and GIS file compatibility are valuable and make sense for advanced users, they are currently outside the scope of our development roadmap.

That said, we’ll keep your feedback on record as we continue to evaluate future possibilities. Thank you again for your support and understanding.
