Not sure exactly when this started as it’s been a couple weeks since sending the mower out, but I noticed in this run my mower pro is avoiding what it believes are obstacles without even trying to bump into them. This is in Gentle Contact mode. To me it seems like the unit is acting as if Vision based obstacle avoidance is active, but I don’t even see that toggle in the app anymore, only the one for ultrasonic sensors (which typically just slow the unit down before collisions rather than trying to avoid touching obstacles altogether). This is creating issues with the work plan as yarbo is afraid to collide with the most flimsy of stalks/leaves hanging over planters, etc. Am I missing this setting or is this an intentional update? What’s going on here?
Make sure you have the latest app and firmware updates. If you do, then open a ticket so they can check the backend to see if vision is enabled.
It isn’t you. I had the same problem with my system. I turned off all the other sensors (cameras, ultrasonic, etc) and it then collided with something real and broke the HaLow antenna. During my attempt to replace the antenna a wire connector under the cover broke losing the connector retaining clip. Now waiting for a replacement core.
