Mowing between a row of evergreen trees

Is there a way to get better paths between trees? I have hundreds of evergreen trees. Many in rows. It has to turn so much. It takes a lot of extra time and likely wear on the core. If I don’t map around every tree it tries to push under them and then ruins all three antennas. Doesn’t matter which mode I’m in. This method is working, but I think it should be able to find a more effective path. Would be great if it saw the areas between trees as forest and backward paths/deadends vs the zigzag.

Have you tried one big area and making the trees NGZ’s? I would like to see a mowing pattern for areas that would do nothing but dead ends. It’s been a common ask.

I agree with Bryan.

Maybe pick an area and create NGZ around each tree and see how Yarbo handles it. If you like the results, start incrementally creating NGZ around the rest of the trees.

And as a datapoint, all of my trees have a NGZ around them. But I don’t have as many as you.

I did. It seemed like it got stuck between the ngz a lot and ended up buried in a tree.

Spiral pattern might work better. Have you played with any of the patterns at all? Adaptive might be another one to give a try. If you want a more consistent line pattern outside of the trees, you could map the trees as their own area with NGZ’s and do spiral or adaptive in just the area around the trees. Maybe so a couple and see what you think before you do them all.
