I’m trying to get my Yarbo set up but the Data Center is flashing red and the Yarbo itself won’t find GPS. I’ve read the tech articles as well as the new user FAQ but nothing seems to help, and I’m a little confused about some of the wording in the FAQ.
First, the details:
The DC is connected to my POE switch via ethernet. The switch sees the DC and it has an IP address. It is connected at 100mb/sec. I have tried power-cycling the DC and waiting 24+ hours, as it was pretty overcast and rainy when I first set it up.
I installed the Yarbo to my app before connecting to the data center. The FAQ says that if the DC is added to the app, to remove it first… Except I don’t see how to add it to the app. Each time I try to connect, it takes 30+ seconds and I have to be within bluetooth distance from the DC. There’s no “install” or “add to app” or anything like that.
The DC shows as having a lower firmware version than what’s current, but when I click the download button it tells me it’s at the latest version.
I’ve tried driving the core around my yard to see if it would pick up a GPS signal but so far it cannot - I assume that that’s because the DC isn’t working yet?
