The idea is similar to no-go zones, but they are within admissible areas. They are to have the unit calculate a path that does not allow turning (except for emergency situations) to reduce wear on certain areas of if the lawn is on a hill.
Thanks for sharing your suggestion! I can definitely see how a feature like this could be useful, especially for reducing wear in specific areas and improving operation on slopes.
I’ve noted your feedback, and if we see more users expressing interest in a similar feature, I’ll be happy to pass it along to our product team for consideration.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your ideas and help us improve Yarbo. ![]()
It might be nice to be able to draw a rectangular area by clicking two points to define the corners and then selecting one side or two opposite sides of the rectangle for entry and exit respectively. That way Yarbo will only enter a space from the selected side and do straight line cuts into the space to the opposite end. Then, if you didn’t select the opposite side, Yarbo backs out of the area and moves over to the next line outside of the area, or if you did select the other side, it just leaves out that side. Something like this?
And yes, I would expect the turn arounds for the top version to be that messy ![]()
