Over €10,000 for Yarbo – and I’m slowly running out of patience

I still think the Yarbo concept is great. That is exactly why I invested well over €10,000 in the system with snow blower and accessories.

Unfortunately, my experience so far looks very different:

  • Main unit already replaced twice
  • Snow blower replaced
  • Front light defective for months
  • Right camera failed temporarily
  • Constantly changing problems with obstacle detection

Yarbo finally told me that a weak GPS signal could be responsible for most of the problems and offered to send two improved antennas free of charge to my dealer.

That sounded good and I was happy to try it.

But the antennas never arrived.

I asked again several times and now I don’t even get an answer anymore.

Honestly, technical problems can happen. I understand that, even with an expensive product.

But problems staying unresolved for months, promised parts not arriving and then no more answers – at some point you simply don’t feel taken seriously as a customer anymore.

And that’s really sad, because I actually still like Yarbo and would like to keep using it.

Has anyone here had a similar experience? And how was your case finally solved?

Frank

Keep after support is your best bet to get something done. If a ticket goes silent, add to it so it stays on top.
Post your ticket(s) numbers here so @Yarbo-Forum can look into helping you out.

Speaking of which,

@Yarbo-Forum can you see what happened to ticket 239804 ?

Core was diagnosed for replacement on Sept 5, there’s supposed to be a warranty extension + 15 days due to the delay. It’s now been a month, the core has not been shipped and the ticket no longer exists because it was “escalated to sales”.

I need a core, and am supposedly due a month + 15 days of warranty. And that presumes the M1 was not damaged by the power board failure, and presumes that, some day IF the replacement core arrives, it isn’t all f*cked up and also needs to be replaced, again, sucking up even more warranty time.

The ticket for that replacement no longer exists.

That’s a problem.

You are the most awesome person at Yarbo. Can you please see what you can do?

Hi Steven,

Thank you for your patience while our team investigated this issue.

Our R&D team has completed the diagnosis and it was found that the core is faulty. To resolve this, we have gone ahead and initiated a replacement core for you. It should be delivered to you within 7 to 10 days. You will also receive an automated email with your tracking details once it has shipped.

Once you receive the replacement core, please refer to this guide to ensure all the required steps are followed to properly set it up.

(Sept 23, asked for ballpark timeline for shipment) -------------------
Hi Steven,

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry to hear that you still haven’t received your replacement core. I completely understand how frustrating this delay is, especially when you are waiting to get your Yarbo fully operational.

I have escalated your concern directly to our In-sales team. They are best equipped to look into shipping logistics and will review your order details to provide you with an update on its shipment status as soon as possible.

Your patience and understanding throughout this process are highly appreciated. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions in the meantime!

Check your filters and make sure it says All.

No luck on that.
The ticket went away the instant he “escalated” it. Pretty sure the person did a proverbial Move instead of a Copy.

Later, replying to it via email simply made a new ticket with no history. And that new ticket has not been replied to. So, basically a dead end.

Hi Frank,

I’m really sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you’ve had so far. We truly appreciate your patience and your continued support of Yarbo despite the challenges you’ve encountered.

Regarding the RTK Pro antennas, I couldn’t find the related shipping record in our system because the shipment was arranged directly to your dealer. I’d like to share an update with you: due to the previous stock shortage of the RTK Pro antennas, we resumed shipping them starting from September 24th.

I’ve also checked your support ticket #246865, and I sincerely apologize for the delayed response. I can assure you that your case has been escalated to our FSE team, and I’ve requested them to follow up with you as soon as possible regarding the next steps.

Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. We’ll continue to follow up and help move your case forward.

Hi there,
I’m really sorry for the delayed delivery of your replacement Yarbo Core. I’ve checked the shipping status in our system, and it has not been shipped yet because the replacement Core is currently out of stock.
I’m now confirming with our Logistics team regarding the estimated timeline for when the replacement Core can be shipped. I’ll keep you updated once I have confirmed information. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
Regarding the support ticket, it has not disappeared. It was transferred to our Sales department for further handling. However, due to the holiday break, their response may be a little slower than usual. I’ll personally follow up on the shipping status for you in the meantime.

@Yarbo-Forum,

Thank you!
