Patrol Mode enhancements

For the Patrol Mode, there are several enhancements that should be implemented to make this mode actually useful for patrolling a property…

  • Live camera views available during patrol. I want to see my property while Yarbo drives along the path
  • Phone notifications for people spotted during patrol should include a thumbnail pic of the person
  • Phone notifications when a person is spotted should have a clickable link to enable live video to SEE what is going on
  • 2 way audio enabled so I can listen to and talk back to any intruder that Yarbo encounters
  • If Yarbo encounters something blocking its path during a patrol, send a phone notification allowing me to manually drive around the object if desired to continue the patrol
  • Allow me to customize the pre-recorded warning that is played when Yarbo sees an intruder
  • Just better phone notifications in general, and ensure that the notifications are ALWAYS sent. Currently it seems hit or miss.

I was really excited to hear about Patrol Mode, and had hoped it would be useful on my property. I hope improvements can be made so that Patrol Mode can be more useful under real-world conditions.

Most, if not all, of this is on the future roadmap based on what I’ve seen reported on many of the live streams and social media platforms.
