Pine cones

I recently purchased new property. The yard in the new place is fairly treed with coniferous pine trees. This means that the backyard gets a lot of pine cones on the ground. I have not yet set up my yarbo to mow the lawn, but I am not certain how to handle the pine cone situation. Do I need to rake my yard before I let yarbo go? Will it mulch the pine cones like a standard rotary push mower would do? Do I need to buy the blower attachment and send it out first? What happens if I have cleared the yard of pine cones and a few more fall before the mower goes over them, will it damage the blades? Basically, what should I do about a yard that gets pine cones regularly?

Maybe a lawn/Yard sweeper and have yarbo tow it around pick up the pine cones then mow the lawn

Based on your situation, it’s recommended to clean the pine cones first to minimize the Yarbo mower’s constant contact with them. This will ensure a smoother mowing experience and help reduce wear and tear on the cutting blades. Using a blower to gather the pine cones into a specific area before mowing is a good way to deal with them.

As for any pine cones that may fall after you’ve cleared the lawn, the Yarbo lawn mower won’t mulch them. The blade of the Yarbo lawn mower features a swinging blade structure design, which allows it to fold or deflect when encountering hard objects like pine cones. This design reduces potential damage to the blade, so it will fold or deflect when it comes in contact with the pine cones.

I hope this helps you figure out the best approach for handling your yard!
