How to perform routine maintenance of Yarbo lawn mower's blades?

  • Avoid cutting blades from coming into contact with hard surfaces such as stones and bricks.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to humid environments, maintain ventilation and dryness to prevent rustiness.

  • Replace the cutting blades. The cutting blades can be replaced when they are damaged or worn out. We recommend you change the blades every three months. Make sure the blades are fixed securely and flexibly:

    • Detach the lawn mower from the universal body.
    • Raise the lawn mower from the side and place the lawn mower on Module Vertical Stand, please refer to the picture shown below.
    • Unscrew the Cutting Blades Bolts using Phillips-Head Screwdriver provided in the lawn mower Box content.
    • Install the new blades by tightening the cutting blade bolts.

WARNING

  • It is recommended to replace all cutting blades simultaneously if the mowing results are not as satisfactory as before.
  • The blades are advised to be replaced every 3 months. However, in the case of thick grass, more frequent blade replacements may be necessary.
  • Stabilize the blade disc when fastening the cutting blade bolts.
  • Ensure the safety of individuals while performing this procedure.

It looks like the blades furnished could be rotated and reinstalled. Isn’t that an option? What I am not sure about is whether they can be flipped over and thus use all 4 sides prior to replacement

Yes! You can flip over the blades and continue to use the other edge.

Could we get the hour meter exposed in the app for the core and the modules? It says to replace the blades after 6 months or 150 hours, it would be handy to have this data as well as a maintenance reminder to do so. 150 hours for me won’t take too long since most of my mows are 4-6 hours x 3.

Thanks for your suggestion! We’ve received similar requests recently and have passed the need to our R&D department for consideration. We understand how having this data, along with a maintenance reminder, would make the maintenance process more convenient for you.

Additionally, we apologize for the misinformation in this passage. Based on our testing, we’ve updated the recommended blade replacement time to three months instead of six.

Thanks again for your feedback, and let us know if you have any more suggestions!
