Hello to everyone on the forum. This post is more orineted towards new potential buyers of the Yarbo devices. I wanted to share my experience with the Yarbo as a company and products that they sell.
I have ordered my Yarbo with lawn mower and side trimmer on 26th of March 2025. I have paid 8819.00 EUR for this package. And from that moment i have nothing but problems. Few months in, my Yarbo stopped charging. After I don’t know how many emails and “remote diagnostics” that you need to preform on your own, support (which was slow and not efficient at all) decided that my Yarbo have electronic issue and i after few weeks (few weeks in mowing season) i got replacement device. Besides few issues (not avoiding obstacles and bleaching of plastic on the sun) my Yarbo stopped working again. This time my Mower module was not detected properly. Support decided that my 12V system was malfunctioning and again they decided that i need to get new unit. This is now 2nd unit in question. As more than a year have passed they said that i am able to get refurbished unit and not the new one which I am fine with. Now the best part, today after 3 weeks I am getting an email that i need to wait 2 more weeks for my Refurbished Yarbo to be delivered, again in mowing season. On top of all that. My side trimmer was never delivered even after one year+.
To summarzie, in 15 months of my ownership of Yarbo 2 months of Mowing seasons was missed because of malfunctions. I still dont know when my refurbished Yarbo Core will arive and I have lost all the hopes for the side trimmer which cost alone as cheap robot lawn mower.
Unfortunately not a single positive thing after spending almost 9000 euros for a lawn mower. Happy to provide all the screenshoots as it really seems impossible that for almost 9000 EUR you get nothing but a problems.
I also really hope that I will be able to steer some customers away who value uptime the most as Yarbo is not that. I also really hope that Yarbo support and Yarbo as a company will take some lessons and not miss the opportunity to improve.
Great idea, terrible execution.
