There are times when I’d like to run a one-time job for just one area, and I do not have a “plan” configured yet. When tapping the yellow button to start a job, it would be nice to pick a pre-defined plan, or choose “manual” and configure a plan on the spot, without saving the plan.
Kind of an “instant start” or something. Hmm.
I have a Work Plan called “scratch” that I use for this type of one-off thing, whatever is in there gets deselected in favor of what I want to do at the moment. It saves on having to create a Work Plan anyway.
A neat way to do this would be an ability to kick off a task from the “My Yard” view.
At present, no functions are attached to any of the map objects. It’d be convenient if the user could tap on a map feature (such as an area, dead-end, sidewalk, or whatever) and a “Mow Now” (or “Snowblow Now”, or whatever is appropriate for the current module) dialogue would appear, allowing for quick customization and execution of an ephemeral one-time task.
My Roborock vac/mop has a similar feature and I would love to have it here
Thanks for your suggestion and we will pass this to our product team for consideration.
