Slick Treads

In addition to the summer and winter treads, I’d be very interested in an optional purchased set of slick treads. I can imagine some flexible smooth plastic that is literally placed around the summer tracks before installing the summer treads (with nothing other than the friction tension keeping them together). If a suitable material doesn’t exist for that kind of “sleeve” or it couldn’t be prevented from shimmy’ing off, I could imagine an entire 3rd version of the treads that are somehow slippery-er. This would obviously be for yards that have less need for all-terrain traction and are more sensitive to the tread wear on grass.

Thank you for your suggestion. We understand your need for treads that cause less wear on delicate lawns, and we will pass your idea along to our product team for consideration. While I’m not sure if we will pursue this further, as we haven’t received similar feedback before, we will evaluate the market demand for this kind of tread.

What about just thinner treads? The wide marks left by Yarbo are killing me. Especially with the 2 permitter passes, it just lays all the grass flat. And when it just randomly decides to cut across a perfectly cut lawn to make it to a pathway, just ruins the picturesque cut.
