I have the trimmer module on the M1 with the 2024 core. While trimming, at the feeding points the yarbo attempts to accelerate to ‘normal mowing speed’ vs its ‘trimmer’ speed. This seems to be because when the string trimmer stops, the mower isn’t ‘trimming’ anymore and should be at the mowing speed.
End result is a couple extra inches of missed string-trimmer’d edging do in part to this ‘lurch’ forward.
FR: Can we slow DOWN on string trimmer feeding and not accelerate? or at the least, add a cooldown/ramp-up from the ‘no trimmer’ to ‘trimmer’ mowing speeds?
I think they should stop movement when it feeds line, I saw the issue first 5 minutes I played with it. I don’ t think mine lurches ahead, I will have to watch it closer. Thanks for the heads up on this.
