Snow accumulation in blower

I have noticed that snow accumulation in the blower mechanism seems to be mostly on the left side. Is the auger shaft split so both sides push snow to the middle?

That’s probably because of the overlap. Also make sure your shear pins didn’t shear. Both should not move freely if the pins aren’t sheared. They will free spin if they are.

Shear pins are fine but overlap might be the cause. I will play with that.

It does appear though that both sides are turning in the same direction. It pulls snow to the back but not towards the middle.

Such a joy drinking my 5 am coffee and watching Peckerhead effortlessly clear my driveway.

I still think there is something off about the optimization of the auger design but I think I can play with that.

Regardless I wish I could post the smart camera video footage of it going back to its house to charge. It was flawless

Congrats on a successful Yarbo snow blowing run this morning!

I’ve seen pictures of box store blowers assembled with the augers facing the same direction, if there is not any sort of keying you might have to pull the center shaft out and flip one auger.

I’ve seen that as well. I might pull the pins and rotate the left augers 180 degrees to see if that changes anything first.

Let us know if that work or is possible!?

No rotating the blade 180 degrees is the same and 90 doesn’t look possible. I think it may be due to the offset of the chute and the rotational direction of the impeller. The right side has a clearer path to the chute.
