We had a dusting of snow and I still had the leaf blower on so I decided to run 3 tests.
I’m hoping Yarbo can incorporate the offset to the right of the track that gets missed in the route calculation (especially important where 2 patterns meet at a 90 degree angle).
The point of this was to show how much leaf area gets missed to the side of the tracks which needs to be taken into account when planning the leaf blowing route.
It wasn’t about snow. I agree the snowblower needs rear weights, but I’d rather just use weights.
I thought there might be reasons the leaf blowing might be improved by rear mounting.
I agree there is a rather large area missed with the leaf blower next to Yarbo. The original design showed an articulating nozzle which likely didn’t exhibit this issue.
And I wholeheartedly agree it could be and should be fixed.
I posted in the fall about how it would miss leaves because it didn’t account for the offset.
It left lines like this where 2 90 degree patterns met. If it overlapped to account for the offset from the center I think it would be a great improvement.
