Hello. I have been and am still having issues with setting the discharge direction of the chute on my snowblower module since day one (Nov 2025.). When I map out the area (Multiple attempts.) the app confirms the area, and then asks for chute direction, BUT DOES NOT move forward to allow me to choose it. It kind of skips it and moves on. According to the APP I have the most current updates on everything (3.17.4 and 3.12.0). Today I tried again and the APP told me that the throwing distance had to be more than 3.??? feet and moved on. BUT MY PHONE SCREEN WENT TOTALLY WHITE! And wouldn’t let me do anything. Including exiting the APP. I ended up restarting my (Current updated I13) and retried. Same results. I tried editing in AREA SETTINGS, but there was nothing addressing the chute direction. Only the deflector angle. (With sub-directions stating that it will automatically adjust ….. TO EFFECTIVELY THROW SNOW IN THE DIRECTION YOU’VE SET. As I stated earlier, the mapping process never let me choose the direction. What’s going on. I’ve been useing the unit with the remote because of this issue and feel it is a waste because I’m basically MANUALLY doing the same thig as if I were walking behind a gas powered snowblower. Pleas enlighten/guide me? Thank you in advance.
So when it asks you to set a snow throw direction, drag your finger along the boundary line and it will turn yellow setting the snow throw direction. Try and keep this to one side of the driveway to have the best pattern, as this does affect how it creates the plan to clear the driveway.

Try @bryan.wheeler’s instructions and let us know what happens. If you are still unable to set the direction, make a video screen recording of your attempt so we can see exactly what is happening. Post it back here and someone will guide you through it.

Perfect! Thank you! I will apply this to my issue in the next few days. The clock is ticking as te season is changing to where it is near to switch over to mow module. But I want to conquer this before I do the switch. Speaking of which (Might require a separate thread) When I do the swap, do I need to add another unit, or just change APP settings from snowblower to mower? I will totally shut down the module before I do the swap. I already researched that part.
Yes, shutdown the core and swap the modules. The core will recognize the new module and then you can adjust mower settings to your areas or map new areas for the mower and adjust settings.
