I thought I would share a suggestion for fellow Yarbo Owners on how to protect the plastic body on our Yarbo Core and Modules. I’ve noticed recently that the yellow plastic trim on my Yarbo Core (purchased late 2024) is already fading and noticeably lighter than that of my mower module (purchased March 2025). Considering the overall investment of our Yarbo units, I not only want to keep it performing well but looking good for years to come.
That said, I’ve use “303 Products Automotive Protectant Spray” Amazon Link for years on my automotive plastics and Tonneau with great success so have decided to use the same on my Yarbo. I clean any dirt from the unit with a water bottle and microfiber and then follow that up with a treatment of 303 on all plastics and rubber (short of the treads). I plan to retreat monthly during warm months where a lot of sun and UV can fade and damage these plastics.
Hope others find this helpful.

I thought about doing the same. Please let me know it well it works for you.
Adam’s polishes ceramic coating also works extremely well so far and lasts a lot longer. They make a kit with some booster that you can apply whenever you’d like. It is highly recommended for the snow blower to help wet snow from sticking.

Will need to pick some of that up…
you would think they would make the plastic parts out of UV resistant material.
another stupid move from YARBO.
My replacement core is coming soon™ and I was thinking about applying something. Just wondering if it’s too cold to apply it in Massachusetts now… I have a garage, but it’s not insulated.
I didn’t see anything specifically on Adams website. Here is what AI reported.
Keep in mind that it doesn’t stop the fading, but helps slow it down some. Although my uncoated unit doesn’t seem like it continued to fade. I’ve had it over a year. Will be interesting to see if it continues to fade next summer.
