This is area what has large pine trees and GPS is spotty at best. Havenāt had missing lines before so most likely it was not the fault of zigzag border. I remember I was driving smooth curves for this area after I received the last replacement core. Weak GPS must be the blame of this border mystery.
Again I live in Estonia and our eastern neighbor is an major idiot and disturbing GPS signals in regular basis. I have no idea why itās so or how European Galileo system seems to be not effected by those idiots. All our work equipment are now using only Galileo as GPS system is unreliable. I see that Yarbo is using both. So there also should not be an issue. Maybe itās convenient for me to blame all on eastern Orcs. Maybe it is just the 100+ year old pine trees. Where are the bulldozers from Jacksonās Earth song when you really need them?
I agree with this entirely. Those 4 points are a given for any mowing operation. Put differently:
mow efficiently, minimize any unnecessary driving around (that covers points 1 and 3)
make my lawn look good, donāt wreck it (covers point 4 and arguably point 3)
circle no-go zones - this is now an option in the app and should probably stay like that
This is why itās very difficult for us as users to understand what adaptive means and why itās difficult for Yarbo product to explain it. Here is the manualās explanation below. Iām left thinking āhuh, but what does the pattern actually look like?ā
Recommend - get rid of adaptive pattern altogether or replace with a more intuitive definition like ādraws mowing paths based on shape area to reduce mow time and number of turns. Example: Creates ādoglegsā in an L-shaped area. Creates curves following a rounded area.ā

Adaptive
The Adaptive Route Mode has been introduced to provide more flexible area routing options.
To enable it, go to Area Settings and switch the route pattern to Adaptive Route Mode.
The Yarbo Lawn Mower will automatically choose the nearest starting point to begin mowing.
Instead of mowing around each no-go zone perimeter separately, it will mow the perimeter of a no-go zone when it naturally reaches it along the set route.
Reduces unnecessary travel lines that cut across an area.
Minimizes lawn wear by applying adaptive routes that reduce frequent turns in narrow spaces.

I use adaptive for 2 areas I have that are long and narrow, and odd shaped. It really speeds up mowing for these 2 areas. I do not like it for any other areas as it either does not help, or it turns the paths in odd directions in large areas.
Yes, it may not look the greatest (lines arenāt always in all the same direction), but it tries to make it the most efficient it can drawing lines. Tries to limit the back and forth and cut across as much as it can. Still isnāt 100% what people want, but itās kinda the first step towards getting there.
