Trimmer, line size

Forum keeper, @yarbo need a new area for Trimmer talk, as there is not one currently.*

What is the largest size line that will work reliably in the trimmer. Yarbo states .080 as max size, but I have seen posts of .095 being used. Is .095 the max or will .105 or .155 work?

No trimmer shipping info yet, but I would like to get ahead of this as the grass is growing fast.

To be fair, it says recommended. 0.095 does work and works well. I don’t think I would go much higher than that.

Hi there, thanks for your suggestion—we appreciate it. I’ll work on adding a dedicated section for Trimmer discussions.

Regarding the line size, as Bryan mentioned, the recommended range is 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm (0.06–0.08 inch) for reliable performance.
