Can you rewind the trimmer spools?

I see the trimmer spools for sale in the store. 4 for $29. It says it Supports 0.65 mm and 0.80 mm trimmer lines. Can I rewind these myself with a spool from HD?

Yes

Yes and I would actually recommend 0.095 per some PPP user testing.

Yes, you can rewind the spool yourself using compatible trimmer line. The trimmer supports both 0.65 mm and 0.80 mm lines, so you can use suitable line purchased from places like Home Depot as long as it matches the supported specifications.

I’ve been using this now for a little while and just yesterday had to wind my second spools worth.

I was having terrible issues with both the line shearing off at the hole in the spindle and the line getting repeatedly stuck with the stock line. While I still occasionally have issues with this thicker line shearing off, I haven’t had any issues with it getting stuck, and it seems to have lasted longer than the stock line.

I just got my trimmer today. I’m learning how to use it. Thanks for the feedback.

I have several spools of the Yarbo filament, so it’s going to be a while before I need to refill

It’s probably going to be less time than you think

Just remeber guys. Some trimmer line gets stronger if you soak it.

Dont ask me which ones but it is some times noted on the packaging.

Soak it in what? Cement?

As the Water Boy says H²Ooooooooo.

Dont use Gatorade, the line makes the drink taste funny!

In that case I may try Red Bull to see if it will really make the line fly.

As if anybody actually reads the instructions on trimmer line but some of them recommend doing this on the package.

I was today old when I learned this

The day you stop learning is a very sad day indeed.

Ok. I have never heard of soaking trimmer line in water. I thought it was a joke.

Learn something new every day I guess!!
