Use the Yarbo Wifi for make other thing smarter

Hi Yarbo community,

We’re exploring ways to maximize the potential of our existing Wi-Fi network, which already covers a wide area. Currently, we use it for basic connectivity, but we’d love to expand its functionality—especially for smart applications like automated irrigation control.

Given the network’s impressive range, we’re curious: Is it possible for us to connect additional devices (e.g., irrigation controllers, sensors, or other IoT tools) to this network? If so, what are the best practices or considerations for integrating these systems without compromising performance or security?

Unfortunately it’s a closed system currently. It needs all the bandwidth that HaLow offers for smart vision and RTK communication data. Adding more devices wouldn’t be a good idea. However, there are HaLow network adapters out there that you could build your own HaLow network for those devices.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

Thanks for bringing up this idea—it’s a great use case. At the moment, this type of usage isn’t supported, so additional devices can’t be integrated into the existing network in that way.

Is it possi le to use a 2nd DC to give the system more bandwith?

Unfortunately it is not.
