Whelp, it finally happened. Broke a disc

I guess it was bound to happen eventually. Yarbo was happily tending to my yard, and all was well.

All of a sudden, I heard this loud mechanical noise coming from the back yard. What is that sound?? Oh no, Yarbo is back there. So I quickly run outside, and there was Yarbo, trying hard to keep cutting the grass despite having a cutting disc that split in half.

I’m still not sure what broke the disc. I’m anal about removing all branches and debris from the yard. I didn’t find anything obvious that could have damaged the disc. Oh well. Guess it was bound to happen eventually.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you have spares? Any NGZ’s in the vicinity? Boundary excursions that may have led to that? At least the razors are still intact and not missing.

Unfortunately no spares. Lesson learned.

I ordered a set from Amazon this morning. Gotta love next day delivery!

There was a NGZ close to where I rescued Yarbo. I suppose it’s possible that it ventured into the area and ingested something, but I didn’t see any evidence of it.

And yes, nice that I didn’t lose any of my brand new razors in the yard.

sorry you broke one. did you order the new model. like the one on the mower pro. they are much better and more durable.

I ordered the replacements from Yarbo’s store on Amazon. Hopefully it will end up being the latest iteration. It’ll be here tomorrow.

Yarbo should add all commonly needed replacement parts to their Amazon store and let Amazon stock and ship them.
