Made me laugh

Yarbo came home drunk last night.

LOL. You should lock your liquor up!

I’ve noticed this sideways action while docked. It’s always straight on the dock, but the app shows it sideways or askew to one side or the other. A reboot has fixed this for me. But a couple of times it’s come off the dock to the side. To the right, no issues. To the left, there are bushes to stop it.

He was whining about a left cutting motor stuck too…

Must have been a rough night on the north lawn.

I know the disc is flexed some but that doesn’t seem like much of a gap between the discs and the guards. Mine has much more of a gap. Perhaps yours are bent?

When the blade is on the proper side of the guard, it looks more like yours:

thoughts?

Must’ve hit something hard enough to deflect it just right. It’s not uncommon. Just a bunch of us haven’t seen it. I certainly haven’t, yet. What cut height are you mowing at just out of curiosity?

Luckily, I haven’t had that problem…my Yarbo isn’t old enough to drink …yet :clinking_beer_mugs:

Lol. That was after hosing it down. Nothing else. No soap, just a garden hose.

Here was the before. Mind you it was mowing in the rain. I don’t recommend mowing wet grass. This is why.

That was my thought too…

I will say, it does hose off pretty good.

I was mowing my “North Lawn”. It’s the north side of my property out by the work shop.
I use the term lawn very loosely. It’s pretty rough. I suspect there was a burn pile out there for who know how many years. There are lots of surprises out there.

I was mowing it at 2.7 inches like the rest of the “lawn”. I will likely raise it up a bit while I spend some time de-junkifiying the area.

At what height do you mow?

That seems like a reasonable height. When I first got it I was mowing at 4 inches but that was in the winter. For the spring I set it to 3 inches and I haven’t switched back to 4 inches yet. I am mowing cool season grass (Tall Fescue) so these are the recommended heights. Taller in the summer to shade the ground more. Shorter in the spring to encourage growth and get out the winter kill.

Not shown is the broken disk.

That’s gonna put a crimp in the mowing schedule.

Can you believe that with that little bit out of the disc gone there is a “little vibration”.

Yarbo is in time-out while I wait for parts. Sure hope they hurry with the parts or I’ll be starting over at 4 inches with a “target” height.

You’d think too, that with the map of where the mowing stopped you’d be able to walk the “lawn” and find that chunk of plastic with the razor blade on it. But NOPE. Guess that’ll be another prize for Yarbo to find.

It could have been slung into the next county…

Remove those guards. Had guards on mow 2 acres constant clog. I removed mine and no issues. Mow 6 acres of fescue and never an issue.

Darn that sucks. Drop your order number and hopefully @Yarbo-Forum can get some expedite added to it for you.

Thanks Mike, I haven’t had any issue thus far with them on. Since I am a tester for Yarbo I am opting to leave them on for now (for a number of reasons). If they become an issue for me, I will definitely remove them (and the brackets that hold them).

Order No. #3547 for discs.

I placed an order (No. #2954) on May 08. No movement on it. Bluetooth antenna for DC and some grease.

And order number No. #1977 (placed 04/11/25) for the Yarbo 4 piece meal. Blower still hasn’t shipped.

Feeling like they need an Amazon store…

Until I can spend some quality time removing surprises from the “North Lawn”, I think I’ll leave em on for now.

(I reserve the right to change my mind at the drop of a hat)

They have one. You can buy the mower package on it today. Looking forward to more stuff like the accessories being available there.

I believe they are restocking currently on the other modules. I know supplies just hit the port so they should in theory ship soon.
