Yarbo cannot create a successful map of backyard or a pathway Due to GPS dropout

Yarbo is currently in the front yard on its dock … The screenshot of diagnostic is from that location

I can move the datacenter to the front of the chimney and see if # of satalites increases… Normally 28 but bounces around up to 42

These diagnostics look good for the rover section. Can you post the status and HaLow sections too. Then where you are having the issue, take the same screenshots when it is experiencing the issue.

After fighting with non-stop -2 all week after the core took a small whack from the side, it finally stopped raining enough for me to follow a hunch.

  • Pull battery, obviously
  • Grab an air compressor with a wand (if you have one) and a real shop-vac to capture everything.
  • Pull the cover get rid of the 50lbs of clippings that are in there. Focus on anything with a connector, especially top-right as you are looking at the core.
  • Check and re-seat J10 (on the cover). Mine had come loose. Check the others, just because.

Adjust-angle came up clean when the core was booted. Back in business!

Additional followup - that hex jam-nut is the issue with halow SnR, mines still clean with no degradation thus far. Pull yours, but keep the rubber thingy and crush the crap out of it. See how that goes. Worse case, lose the rubber thingy also, but I suspect you can keep it.

Woot!

Thanks I’ll check it out

So J10 looks like just a blank connector? Possibly a terminator? Mine looks tight. I ordered some SMA barrels to try the antenna thing.
