Well I was going to post a couple of pictures but @tallman.brew has me beat. Couple of things I noticed right off the bat:
- It changes some of the settings from the M1 (object avoidance mode, turn type). I was expecting it to stay the same, but I guess it makes sense.
- I did a quick test running over three pine cones and a couple of small sticks, two of the pinecones got stuck under it, I think this guard is much worse for catching stuff or I just had some kind of fluke happen. It’s verry open so probably better for not collecting grass…. They will be coming off soon.
- Some of the bolts on the cutting disk are on there a lot tighter than others… if someone were to not be holding onto the disk while removing them with a electric driver they could cut their thumb… don’t ask me how I know. I wish it came with the blades on it instead of the disks… I feel almost everyone getting the pro model is going to be using the blades.
- It does sound different, not too loud but has a deeper, almost muffled combustion engine sound.
I will probably do some more testing this weekend, but so far so good (minus the guards).
