Understanding the Sidewalks

The Sidewalk feature allows Yarbo snow blowers to efficiently clear long, narrow paths such as sidewalks, driveways, and walkways. It can also be flexibly applied to handle more complex scenarios.

To function properly, a sidewalk must be connected to an existing area or pathway.

Before managing a sidewalk, it’s important to understand each sidewalk setting.

FAQ: Why do I see Yarbo moving the snow chute even when it is in standby mode?

In cold weather, certain components of the Yarbo snow blower will automatically move as part of its anti-freeze protection. This is normal behavior. The system performs small adjustments periodically to prevent parts from freezing.

  • Snow chute rotation: Moves between 45° and 135° every 30 minutes.

  • Linear actuator: Adjusts between 15° and 30° every 30 minutes.

  • Deflector: Moves back and forth between 16° and 48° every 30 minutes.

These automatic movements help keep the mechanism functional and ready for operation.
