2024 Core Issues

I would recommend you making sure the pins and sockets on connector from core to mower are clean. Some have noted success by applying dielectric grease to the pins then reassembling the connectors together. Simple cheap fix to rule out some potential issues.

So, the one that gets 4 has the pointy sides,
The one that gets 2 has the round sides.

Might be easier to just ship 8 springs instead of six, lol.

Yep - I’m like why make it so complicated! Those springs can’t be that expensive. Whether or not those connections are used or not, just make it easy on the end user.

I’ve only seen “Newman” head towards the Work Plan starting point and once there perform a hard stop. Then alert about the blades (it never starts the Work Plan). The starting point is well past the the end of the connecting path between two work zones. The blades are not “programed” to operate when traversing the connecting path.

If I manually drive the mower I can start the blades and operate the mower.

Yes, but once you hit start and it calculates a plan - this is the active work plan. So what you are saying is, it gets to the area start point and attempts to start the blades but is stuck with the message about the blades. What I’m suggesting is that someone said at that point you see the message not going away, hit the PAUSE icon, wait a second, then hit the PLAY icon. Sometimes this lets it get past the bug. Not always. Worth a shot.

Now I understand. Give me a few hours. Doing other yard projects

@bryan.wheeler no joy. Tried three different approaches, didn’t work. Also manual activation of the cutting disk is now spotty. The disks spin up while the drive is sitting there, but movement to the right / left, forward / backward causes the disks to stop spinning.

Bummer. Was worth a shot. I hope they get this figured out for you soon.

@bryan.wheeler @B-Mod @steve @cobradunn - hey guys, I appreciate all the help over the past few days, thank you.

I just received an email confirmation on the shipment of the springs. Delivery on Friday. Until then, I’ll be watching the grass grow.

I hope this works for you. Please let us know if it does, or doesn’t work.

@Yarbo-Forum It’s that time again, lol

Can you take a peek at #203456 and see where it is in queue?
Backlogs happen, but we’re on day 6 without an initial response.

Thank you so much!

I received the springs from “Yarbo” today. I need to say, “Really, A 1 mm spring (or smaller) shuts down the Pro Module”. I won’t known if it fixes the issues or not. The next three days are light rain, rain, some rain and more rain and more rain than 10 mins ago. The weather rock is wet, so it could be raining (yes, this was posted elsewhere),

Really …

So what stops these springs from falling out when not plugged in?

That’s been my biggest question!! Seems to me that those springs will almost immediately fall right out (and you won’t even notice!) unless they’re wide enough to grab against the outer perimeter of the slot.

@Yarbo-Forum what keeps the springs from falling out when the Pro module is exchanged for another?

@Yarbo-Forum Received the springs on Friday (5 June 26). Springs were installed on Saturday (6 June 26). Due to heavy rain on Saturday can’t test for a few days. I tried to manually start the blades in the garage via the IOS App. No Joy, the blades don’t operate or will not startup after several reboots of the module.

  1. There maybe another loose power connection, 2) Poor software controls, 3) or both and 4) Can we revert back one SW/HW one revision for additional base line testing for items 1, 2 or 3?

Next steps??

TT #196182 updated - 6 June 26.

No error messages I assume? It’s likely a wiring issue in the core or mower. This seems to more prevalent in the Pro.

Correct, no error messages

As discussed in your support ticket, we will be sending you a replacement mower module. Thank you for your patience while you wait for the replacement to arrive.

@Yarbo-Forum - just to make sure, the its a Pro mower module replacement
