New core, new problems

Activated this replacement core (my 4th core) on the 16th of Dec (6 days ago). I did a bit of testing / re-mapping yesterday and had some snow last night, so it was out clearing this morning. New issues: this one seems to like to disconnect from the snowblower module from time to time. This has happened at least 5 times in the last 2 days. It will clear away, then stop and send an alert that it has suspended the work plan because there is no module attached. I can manually re-activate the plan, and it will continue. One time, it continued without the snowblower active, just plowing snow. As its running I can also hear it cycle the snowblower off and then spin it back up for no reason.
I’ve done the cycle the power, unplug the battery stuff.
At this point, I’m done being part of the troubleshooting and beta testing team.
@Yarbo-Forum ticket # 143163 submitted; please just get the next core on its way.

Might be the snow blower module…they said the M25 connector on my last one was flakey, also keep an eye on the belts, motor shafts, and pulleys on the motor strippingšŸ˜…

Snowblower module has worked fine on the other 3 cores, havent seen this behaviour before.
I really dont want a new snowblower module, the new ones seem to have more problems with belts, etc than whatever vintage this one is.

Yeah, this unit is pooched. Failed 3 more times and now it wont recognize the snowblower module. Its currently trying to get back to the DS, i think it thinks the snowblower is running but it 100% isnt.

Update: it failed trying to get back to the DS. Stopped at the point where it would spin up the snowblower to clear the DS, now its just sitting there looking at the DS. At least I’m assuming its looking at it. I checked smart vision and the front camera doesnt work, too.

Extremely un-impressed this morning.

Can you install the SAM and see if everything works fine? If so, probably just the S1 module.

The issue seems to happen when Yarbo is adjusting the snowblower module. I dont think it has to adjust the SAM as much, so it may not provide a clear answer. As said, the SB was working fine with the other 3 cores. So if it isnt working with this core its still a core issue. If its because the cores have changed and the ā€˜old’ SB modules cant keep up, that’s an even scarier idea when spring comes and we all hook up our ā€˜old’ LM Pro modules.
Like i said, Yarbo can troubleshoot this one. (I do appreciate your response, but this is Yarbo’s problem).

So it just threw me a ā€˜module changed - switch to no module’ flag while it was sitting on the DS doing nothing. Not sure what else to say at this point.

Sounds like an intermittent module sensor to me.

If I recall correctly, there’s a magnetic sensor on the core that senses a magnet attached to the module.

@bryan.wheeler Am I remembering this correctly?

That’s correct but it should say something like module lifted if that sensor trips.

The error im getting is ā€œModule Changed: No Module Detected. Switch to No Module Modeā€. If I then go into the app controller and adjust the module height, it will reconnect the snow blower module. I’m kind of in DGAF anymore mode right now, going to step away from Yarbo for a day or two.

You’ve probably tried the reboot/shutdown/restart routine?

Sounds like either the core-side of the blue/round connector, or the board that connector goes to.

Support will probably have you check if the SAM does a similar thing.
