2024 vs new 2025

I received my new module today. The main pulley looks much more robust and alignment checked and double checked.

Looks good. Thank you support. No complaints from me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Awesome! Hope the new snowblower module is 100% problem free.

Me too

Good you have it fixed. When I see the second picture with the torn belt, I’m thinking that is going to happen to our snow blower sometime in the future even if we do not have a problem now. How can we get this belt as a spare just in case?

I would ask thru support@yarbo.com

Thanks

Will Yarbo send a upgrade kit for this?

I doubt it. You could ask support and see.

Support says they are not able to provide a spare belt at this time. but we can contact them for a replacement if required.

Makes sense if they are trying to make sure they have stock for broken ones. Many have taken to ordering from a third party. I know bourbonyarbo.com has some third party ones for sale (or did). Here are the specifications if you want to order a third party belt. Snow Blower Belt Specification | Yarbo Wiki

Yeah just order your own for now because the belt isn’t going to break when you don’t need it.

Thank you all. Just ordered one. It is already snowing here southern NH

Yeah you guys are getting pounded right now. Just let up here in MI.

After 10 uses, in wet and dry snow, the new belt on the new 2025 module is showing signs of wear. The metal cord in the belt is showing and starting to come off. Not a problem yet but it is concerning.

I doesn’t make sense to me. The pulleys are firmly attached and aligned. The motor does not move on its shaft.

The pulleys do show a small amount of pitting. It makes me wonder if stone and dirt debris in the snow is causing wear to the belt.

Maybe a small amount of grease on the belt would help??

Opinions..

( I took pics but have misplaced them  )
