2025 snowblower belt wear

After 10 uses, in wet and dry snow, the new belt on the new 2025 module is showing signs of wear. The metal cord in the belt is showing and starting to come off. Not a problem yet but it is concerning.

I doesn’t make sense to me. The pulleys are firmly attached and aligned. The motor does not move on its shaft.

The pulleys do show a small amount of pitting. It makes me wonder if stone and dirt debris in the snow is causing wear to the belt.

Maybe a small amount of grease on the belt would help??

Opinions..

( I took pics but have misplaced them  )

Hi there, I’ve seen the photo of the belt you sent to me in messages. Based on its condition, it may lead to issues with continued use.

We recommend submitting a support ticket for a replacement and including the belt photo with your request. Our support team will review it further and help you with the next steps.

Hello Yarbo official

I tried to open a ticket through the app but was unable.

I was about to contact support through email and it is being addressed.

Thank you for your prompt reply,

David

Yeah hopefully that ticket bug is fixed in the next app update. Along with waypoints.
