70s Antenna Mounting Solution for the Data Center

Thought I would share my hybrid mounting solution for the data center. My house was built int he 70’s and while the music wasn’t the best the TV Antennas they used on the houses made a perfect mounting solution.

I feel like that has the potential for plenty of interference…

The app provided me an “Excellent” rating with 22 Satellite connectivity.

The top piece of the antenna, above the Data Center, will be removed soon. Renting a cherry picker to remove that piece.

I agree with Ken. Also the tree in the background seems like it might be blocking some of the signal. In your diagnostic page there is a data center diagnostic yellow text. If you tap that it will give you like a scatter point plot of the DC satellites and the CNR values for each constellation. If you wouldn’t mind posting that we can take a look and see if you might have issues or not.

The trees in the back ground are more then 30 feet from that antenna. Have to love the zoom in option of my cell phone camera

It’s vintage for sure. Antenna turner and everything.

I do have a 3d printer and wondering what I could design in CAD for the Yarbo.

I have printed these so far:
Datacenter Mount

SAM and wired charger Holder

NOICE!!! I am going to print some of those now!

Probably going to need some no go zones around the bird feeders and likely other areas.

If you use vision for sure. I think it needs 2 inch diameter to see. (Correct me if I’m wrong @bryan.wheeler or @Ken)

Correct. Pool noodles can fill the void and make it see them

At least no go zones are invisible to humans. Pool noodles… not so much.

Soon as I can get my Yarbo to move  I will be doing some intensive mapping sessions around the 3 acres I mow. I will put my plastic double sided drink helmet o and go to town.

You can decide if it’s a good example or a bad one.
