I’ve seen a number of issues where antennas are broken due to the Rover driving under fences, truck tow hitches, low branches, etc. Could it be possible to add a thin “antenna” style contact to register soft collisions from above and stop the rover in its tracks? The antenna length could be just tall enough to reach the highest point of the other antennas and activate some sort of prox sensor or microswitch, and ideally be retrofitted to existing systems.

Thank you for sharing your valuable suggestion. While we understand the concern, adding a top-mounted contact sensor may lead to frequent interruptions during normal operation.
That said, we’ll continue exploring ways to minimize the risk of antenna damage and improve overall durability.
