Are many of you seeing "Right Cutting Motor Blocked" and "Right cutting Motor Overheating" alerts?

Last two days have been rough, cleaned the disks and the shaft under the disk mounts, at least 5-6 times now. After the last cleaning, the mower mowed for maybe 20 min before shutting down …

I have opened a ticket, but I wanted to see what others might be seeing, and it’s been 24 hours since the ticket was logged.

@Yarbo-Forum

I’m wondering if putting the blade guard bracket (minus the actual guards) back on might help you keep it a little cleaner on the spindle.

Nope. The blade guard bracket is perfect recipe for blades being clogged by grass and owner running behind the Yarbo all the time and trying to get them unclogged.

Removing the bracket was the turning point when Yarbo started to actually mow areas with almost no attention required from owner.

Hi Tim,

I’ve seen your update in the support ticket, and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

Our team is aware of your case and will follow up with you soon regarding the next steps. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Yes I understand that. It was the build up on the top of the bracket. But my point is, the was something underneath the discs and between it and the spindle from factory that isn’t there now. So if the grass getting caught around the spindle is now causing you a different issue, perhaps putting something back, even modified might help.

Well .. perhaps not mowing the lawn will definitely prevent from issues with Yarbo

For lawnmower pro I guess they have improved that bracket - it’s more light and with hole above the disks to minimize the grass buildup there + pro disks have that elevated part to prevent things from winding around the axle.

But I will not risk putting 2 times heavier disks on 2 times less powerful motors … that could cause another problems.

Maybe adding some sharp razors and securing them with the same bracket screws would just help to cut the thing which wants to wind around the axle

I already had the topic and discussion about this

So I did try that last year, starting out with full guards and after a month or so of jams, taking off the guards, but leaving the brackets on for a while. I was just getting so many jams, I took the whole assembly off. And mowed for the next 5 months no problems.
And the first 3 months of this year. Those guards are a recipe for jams on my pastures. Just like what Andris said.

Yeah, I would put some slightly heavier cutting blades on those powerful motors if I thought it would improve things, in a heartbeat. Having to mow every week to get an inch or two of grass seems wasteful and just wears the machine faster. This is the second mower module in a year and a half of mowing, and I’m actually contemplating buying another mower module, yeah I’m crazy! The machine does a nice job when it runs, it just has a lot of software quirks, and now it looks like I’m down (again) for a month during peak cutting season.
Why another one? At least as long as the core lasts, I’d have a backup for when the cutter goes down again. Or needs servicing. Or needs new blades, or cleaning, or…

Since I’m down with no mower in June …I’ll ask for an ETA. When do you think we might resolve this problem?
Thanks,
Tim

I’ve already asked the team to prioritize your case. We appreciate your patience as they work to resolve the issue, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as there’s progress.

Thank you for understanding.
