Mower blades reaching speed then mower over heating

It keeps trying to get blades to speed in the same spot repeatedly until motor over heats. Move forward to a new spot then try to reach blade speed.

What is your module clearance set to? If Medium or High, try setting it to low and see if that helps. Also, get a ticket in with support so they can check the unit out.

The motor overheating could be stuck grass underneath. Drop the blades all the way down, shutdown the core, remove the module and hose down all up underneath and make sure nothing is stuck or pancaked up in there.

I believe i have it set to medium in all places. I have the guards and guard brackets off. Blades are free spinning. Ill set it to low and se how it does. Thank you

In my experience (what little there is), my Yarbo complains about Right Cutting Motor Overheating with grass buildup under the deck and on top of the cutting disks. Usually a good hosing off the deck clears the issue.

I attribute the buildup to running at night when the dew is bad. It’s a sticky mess…

My bad…

Also if cutting wet, ensure you are cutting LOWER than 3.5 inches. You want a gap between the deck and disks so that you can shed clippings, and more is better.

I run at 2.7 inches and the guards are currently still in place.

Lose those finger guards and brackets, and get your smile back!
