I am back to getting “Create a map” when I connect to the Yarbo. If I click it, I get “Failed to access recharge points. Please refresh and retry”. Before this issue, I created an area within a few feet of the charging station so the Yarbo could access it. The snow was too deep as it was. I had found that it would just stop after any job, and say “charging”, nowhere near the charger. I thought it was because it has tried to access it and could not. After I ran the job on the area, it said the the charger couldn’t be in an area. It was a few feet away, but close. So i deleted the charger location. When I opened the app to create a new one, I got the “Create a map”.
Sometimes the app lags, especially on bluetooth and this will show up like you “lost your maps”. Most of the time you just need to wait for a minute or so and it will finish loading. Have you tried a restart? Settings, safety settings, restart is the easiest way to reboot. You can also try a hard power down and power up. Pull power to the DC and the battery cable for 5 mins. Plug in the DC, then plug in and turn on the core. If that still shows odd behavior afterwards, I would submit a ticket and drop your ticket number here for the forum administrator to look into.
Could you please try Bryan’s suggestion to see if that helps resolve the issue?
If it doesn’t, please submit a support ticket so our support team can take a closer look and help identify the root cause.
I created a new docking station outside of the area, deleted the overlapping area, then created a new docking station where I wanted it. It makes more sense now, but when the areas and lines need to be painstakingly manually created by moving the robot, the GUI could do with some better feedback.
