"Unable to add the ticket"-> Can't create a new initial work area.

I created a test area, then found a good place for the charging station, deleted the test area, and started fresh. I don’t see any polygon drawing while navigating the yarbo. And trying “Next” or “Save” doesn’t create a polygon.

I tried to submit a ticket and get: “Unable to add the ticket”. How do I contact support? Or am I doing something wrong?

If the app isn’t working (and probably not doing anything wrong) you can contact support via support@yarbo.com or at support.yarbo.com and click on tickets. You can also call at +1 (631) 818-1850.

Regarding the polygon you are looking for, can you screenshot or explain what you mean?

Hi there! Could you please share a screenshot or any additional details that might help us better understand the issue you’re experiencing? We’ll do our best to assist you.

As for contacting support, as Bryan mentioned earlier, you can directly email support@yarbo.com to open a support ticket.

Thanks for the replies. I got it to create the initial boundary map by taking the yarbo about 30ft from the building, (which is one story), even though the GPS was green nearer the building. I don’t know if that was the fix, or just doing it far more slowly helped. The messages, screen state and names for the map stages are confusing, and I’ve been writing GIS software for decades.

You probably just need to increase your PPVS settings under settings, Yarbo Lab. For the map section, bump it up 10-15ft and see if that lets you get closer. The other thing you want to do is map with the left antenna away from obstacles (left as you face the rear of the core). That is the primary antenna. That should always face into the area when mapping and away from a NGZ when mapping those.

As for the naming - there is one “Map”. That is the Yarbo world view so to speak. You create “Areas” for each mapped boundary you want to create. IE the Front Yard, Back Yard, Side Yard, Driveway, etc. However you want to separate “zones” so to speak. Other robotic companies typically call areas zones. Then you create pathways that connect areas to other areas and to the docking station. Overlapping areas doesn’t inherently tell Yarbo it’s safe to cross the boundary line, it will only cross at a pathway. Once you have all that completed, you create a work plan. A work plan lets you select an area or multiple areas, sidewalks, dead ends, etc to group into a plan for execution in the order you list them from top to bottom. Then you can schedule work plans or start them manually.

Hope that helps!
