There should be some type of facility to charge yarbo’s battery without it being in the core..
If for what ever reason Yarbo’s battery dies (Especially since its fairly new and a few bugs or incomplete features or just unforeseen circumstances) You need to lug the entire core unit somewhere that you can plug it in.
It would be alot more convenient to remove the battery from the core unit and charge up the battery then put it back into the core unit.
This is more so for the snow blower as it can’t always make it back to the charging station.. and if you are not able to supervise it its fairly easy for the battery to go flat dead so its unable to move under its own power to the charging station.
When the unit with snowblower is about 250lbs it is a extremely difficult chore especially in inclimate weather.
Thank you for your suggestion and for sharing your experience with us!
Actually, it’s already possible to charge the Yarbo battery separately from the core unit. You can use the battery power cord to charge the battery directly. This accessory is available on our official website in the Accessories section: Accessories – Yarbo. Simply connect the battery power cord to the wired charger we’ve provided, and you’ll be able to charge the battery without needing to move the entire core unit.
We understand the challenge you mentioned with the snow blower, especially in certain weather conditions. To make things clearer, we will soon provide additional instructions on how to charge the battery separately, so you’ll have all the information you need.
Thank you again for bringing this issue to our attention! We appreciate your feedback and will continue to work on improving your experience with Yarbo.
While I do appreciate you have an additional cord that would suffice… It would be better to have a port on the battery to plug the wall adapter in…
Chances are you will not think ahead to get the additional cord and when its dead in the cold your not going to be able to wait for the cord to arrive..
Also on that note.. When Yarbo encounters a problem (track slippage ect..) The App should notify the user of the error… a number of times it started slipping shortly after I stopped monitoring it and was just sitting there waiting for me to notice.
Ahh, @Yarbo-Forum — that’s what I thought this was. There was no description of it on the Accessories page when I was looking at it a short while ago. That information should be there if it hasn’t been added already.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will reach out to the relevant department and ensure they are informed. Additionally, we will provide clear instructions on how to charge the battery, making sure that more users are aware of this feature. Thanks again for your valuable input!
