Any ideas? I’ll add another support ticket but kinda feel like its a waste of time as nobody from support has responded to my last ticket! @Yarbo-Forum
Ticket ID for this is: #204136 @Yarbo-Forum
This is normal if the battery is very hot. Check diagnostics to see if battery is near 50c.
The other ticket I have submitted is for a Power Board Issue (B009) and figured it was related to that issue, or maybe the Front Camera that isn’t working, or…
What would cause the battery to be very hot when it hasn’t done this before? Temps outside are a mild 77F here.
Has it been mowing in the sun and charging in the sun? Please check the battery temp in the diagnostics and post the temp here.
I responded in your other thread
It was on the charging dock for an hour or so when I got the message. The temps were showing between 48 and 50 in the app and the outside temps were 77 F at the time I was getting the errors. Its been sitting on the docking station for awhile now and the temps are showing 45 in the app and the temps outside are now 59.5 F and its sitting in the dark. Battery feels hot to me but I’m not sure if that’s normal or not.
The battery has no active cooling and is in an unventilated box. It will stay hot quite a while. There are a number threads on here discussing how to manage this.
Temp this morning was at 23 but battery was only charged to 89%, is this the new normal?
The battery will cycle between 90% and 100% when sitting on the dock. You might have caught it at the low point. Still, keep an eye on it to make sure there isn’t something else going on.
I would unplug the battery for at least 4 hours, then reconnect and put it back on the charger. If the dock doesn’t charge it up, you can always try the wired charger to see if there is an issue.
If the battery was showing 89% and it was still actively charging (had the animation) then no this isn’t normal. Unplug the battery for 4 hours to reset the BMS. If it doesn’t fix it or happens again, get a ticket in so they can check the battery out.
This is the way.

Agreed. Not sure what changed that makes this a common thing now, but should be one of those corner case issues vs the norm.
I was commenting on “This is the way” you guys are too much!
