I just got my driveway blacktopped. Has anyone had experience with the winter tracks (and studs) damaging their blacktop?
It will scratch the blacktop. It hasn’t gouged mine yet.
As @JNS said it will absolutely cause damage to anything, including the dock, that it encounters. Scratching, scuffs, marks, etc. they are ice studs and really only needed for that scenario. Best to remove them and install as needed.
